The best book on schizophrenia
I think this is the most comprehensive/best book on schizophrenia that I've encountered. It covers the history of psychiatry (especially as it relates to schizophrenia), what schizophrenia is/how it operates, limitations of the current medical system/laws, some personal experiences of the author, and instructions/approaches to people with schizophrenia.
That being said, I'd probably recommend "The Center Will Not Hold" or "Collected Schizophrenias" before this as a first book and this book as something for people to read if they're interested in the history/politics of schizophrenia.
